When is Hariyali Amavasya?

In the year 2022, Hariyali Amavasya is falling on Thursday, July 28. This year Sawan Amavasya Tithi will start on 27th July at 09:11 pm and will end the next day at 11.28 pm on 28th July.

Not one, two, but three Raja Yogas are being formed on Hariyali Amavasya. The planet Saturn will form Shasha Raja Yoga in its sign Capricorn, while Mars will form an Ruchak Raja Yoga in Aries. 

Jupiter will make Hans Raja Yoga in its Pisces sign and the interesting thing is that on this day Jupiter will also become retrograde. Jupiter will remain in a very important position, which is considered to be the most auspicious planet in the sky.

• Offer Arghya to the Sun God.
• You can also keep fast on Hariyali Amavasya.
• Do the above mentioned tasks for pleasing your ancestors.
• Worship Tulsi plant and Peepal tree.
• Meditate on God as much as possible.
